Mandatory Insects is a New Zealand based online supplier of feeder insects and related products. If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us before placing your order.

2. Orders and Availability

All orders are subject to product availability, confirmation of price, and acceptance by us. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve stock, and we may decline or cancel an order if stock is unavailable, pricing is clearly incorrect, or we cannot reasonably fulfill the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been authorised, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for the affected order or item.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on this website are in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are added during checkout based on the shipping option selected for the order.

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on this website. Your payment is subject to Stripe's terms, systems, and fraud prevention processes.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We currently offer delivery options within New Zealand, including Auckland, rural delivery areas, the North Island, and the South Island, together with pickup by request where available. Delivery estimates provided at checkout are indicative only and can be affected by courier performance, rural delivery schedules, weather, or other factors outside our control.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for delays, extra costs, or failed delivery caused by incorrect address details or a failure to collect an order when delivery or pickup has been arranged.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those laws apply.

If a product does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so we can assess the issue and work with you on an appropriate remedy. Remedies may include replacement, refund, or another solution required by law depending on the circumstances.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, order the wrong product, or cause the issue through misuse, incorrect storage, delay in raising the issue, or failure to follow any reasonable care instructions.
